Kyle Perkins was named Western Michigan’s Wide Receivers Coach in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience coaching at the collegiate and professional levels.

Perkins joins the Broncos after two seasons at Elon University, where he served as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. During his time with the Phoenix, he mentored FCS All-American Chandler Brayboy, who recorded back-to-back career-best seasons under Perkins' guidance.

Before Elon, Perkins was a key member of the University of Georgia’s 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship team, working as the assistant wide receiver's coach. His previous roles include coaching stops at Oregon (2021) and Wake Forest (2019–20), where he contributed to three consecutive bowl appearances and helped develop several future NFL wideouts.

In 2021, Perkins also gained NFL coaching experience as part of the Arizona Cardinals’ staff through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.
Throughout his career, Perkins has coached 13 players who went on to play professionally in the NFL, including Ladd McConkey, Greg Dortch, Sage Surratt, Kendall Hinton, and Jaquarii Roberson.

A native of Westlake, Ohio, Perkins began his coaching career at Notre Dame College, where he was also an All-Conference wide receiver and team captain. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and holds a master’s degree in Liberal Studies.
