James Ventresca is in his second season as the video coordinator for Western Michigan’s football program. He comes to Kalamazoo after serving in the same capacity at New Hampshire, his alma mater, since 2014.
At UNH, Ventresca’s primary responsibilities included: coordinating all videotaping for the team, overseeing the video library, breaking down opponent film for the coaching staff and film exchange.
In addition, James created in-season team highlight videos and assists in day-to-day football operations. His responsibilities also included video distribution during professional scouting visits and aiding UNH recruiting efforts with video packaging and editing. He also managed the team’s social media channels.
James is from Hingham, Mass., and served as a student manager for UNH football from 2010-13. He earned a B.A in Sport Studies from UNH in 2014.
