2019: Played and started in 48 of the 49 games for the Broncos, becoming one of just four Broncos to do so ... began the season playing or starting in 129 straight games ... led the team with six home runs in 2019 ... ranks in the top 20 in career hits (180) at WMU ... ranks sixth in school history with 24 hit by pitches ... defensively, threw out 21 runners trying to steal in 2019, the second most in the Mid-American Conference .. finished senior campaign with a .231 batting average with 30 runs scored, six doubles, six home runs and 30 RBIs ... registered seven multi-hit games along with six multi-RBI games ... posted a season-high four RBIs vs. Ohio (5/17) and at Southeast Missouri State (2/17) ... in a 22-1 win over Georgetown, Forestell went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored ... led the team in 2019 with 31 walks ... defensively registered a team-high .992 fielding percentage ...named WMU's Move Valuable Defensive Player in 2019

2018: One of two players to play in start in all 48 for the WMU ... has played or started in 101 straight games for the Broncos ... registered a .236 batting average with seven doubles, one triple, one home run and 26 RBIs ... had a .305 slugging percentage and .368 on-base percentage ... led the Broncos with 34 walks ... had a team-high .991 fielding percentage behind the plate ... ended the season reaching base safely in 11 straight games ... had 11 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games ... threw out 16 runners trying to steal, ranking fourth in the MAC .... recorded a career-high five RBIs, going 3-for-5 with one run scored at Eastern Michigan (April 29) ... in a 26-15 victory over Northwestern, Forestell went 4-for-6 with two RBIs, one double and four runs scored .... named WMU's Co-Defensive Player of the Year

2017: Academic All-MAC ... one of two players on the team to start all 53 games for the Broncos … hit .276 with 31 runs, 11 doubles and 19 RBI … led the team with 10 sacrifices and tied for second with 11 doubles … had 12 multiple hit games, including a 3-for-5 game at Bowling Green that including five RBI.

2016: Played in 52 games with 42 starts at catcher, designated hitter and in the outfield … hit .262 with 18 runs, five doubles, one home run and 21 RBI … fourth on the team in RBI … had a stretch from March 18 to April 10 where he had a hit in 12 of 13 games including five multiple hit games … went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI against Kennesaw State on Feb. 21 … went 3-for-5 with two runs, a double and three RBI against Bowling Green on March 19 … went 2-for-4 with a run, a double and two RBI against Bradley on March 26. 

High School: Was named three-time first team all-area and all-conference selection in high school… one of just three players in Homewood-Flossmoor history to hit over .400 in three seasons, doing so in 2015 (.481), 2014 (.431) and 2013 (.485)… voted the team MVP in 2013 ... member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Full name is Jesse W. Forestell… has an older brother, Dillon… son of Kerry Forestell and Wanda Gunter ... plans to major in marketing and economics.
