Pregame

  • CMU wins the coin toss and receives.

 

First Quarter

  • WMU opponents have scored a TD on every opening drive this season.

  • Kaleb Eleby’s interception was the first turnover for the Broncos this season. 

  • Eleby now with a rushing TD in each game. 

 

Second Quarter

  • La’Darius Jefferson surpassed his career-high of nine carries in the second quarter. 

  • WMU’s scoring drive of 5:11 was it’s second longest of the season.

  • WMU’s 359 yards at the half are a season high for a first half. 

 

Third Quarter

  • Eskridge’s two TDs in the quarter were his second and third of at least 70 yards this season.

 

Fourth Quarter

  • La’Darius Jefferson records his first career 100-yard rushing game for the Broncos.

  • Jaylen Hall catches his career-best second touchdown of the game, also posting a career-high of 110 yards receiving. 

 

Post-Game

  • WMU’s 52 points were the second-most scored by the Broncos in a game against Central Michigan. It was also the second-most points in a non-overtime MAC game by the Broncos under head coach Tim Lester. 

  • This was the third time under head coach Tim Lester the Broncos have had two receivers with 100 yards or more in a game. All three have involved D’Wayne Eskridge. 

  • Kaleb Eleby’s five touchdown passes were a new career high. 

  • Head coach Tim Lester has now won three games in a row in each of his four seasons at WMU.
