- Junior Derek Mitchell registered his fourth 60-yard punt this season, pinning the Chippewas at their own two yard-line.

- Junior Eric Assoua with his first forced fumble of the season and second of his career. Central Michigan recovered the fumble at their own 10-yard line.
- Western Michigan converts on a fourth down with a four-yard gain. WMU is now 7-of-11 this season on fourth-down
- Junior Jamauri Bogan with a two-yard touchdown run for his third of the season and 27th of his career. Bogan is fourth on WMU’s career rushing touchdown list.
- Western Michigan doesn’t allow CMU to get a first down in the second quarter
- WMU with 269 total yards ( 28 passing, 241 rushing) compared to Central Michigan’s 82 (52 passing, 30 rushing)

Third Quarter:
A muffed punt by Central Michigan with ten minutes to go in the third quarter. Asantay Brown with the fumble recovery, his first of the season.
- Jarvion Franklin with a nine-yard touchdown run for his second touchdown of the game. Rushed for all 25 yards on the drive, rushed all three plays.
- Second straight muffed punt by Central Michigan, senior Caleb Bailey recovered the fumble at the CMU 7.

Fourth Quarter:
- Jarvion Franklin goes over 200 yards, his third 200-yard rushing game of his career.
- Franklin becomes the first 200-yard rusher for Western Michigan since he rushed for a career-high 281 yards against Akron on Oct. 15, 2016.
- The Broncos rushed for over 300 yards as a team for the third time this season. Against Central Michigan the Broncos rushed for 315 yards.
