2018-19: Played in all 37 games, recording eight assists ... named to NCHC All-Academic Team and a NCHC Scholar Athlete ... made collegiate debut against Bowling Green ... recorded first career point, an assist, at Denver ... tallied an assist and finished +4 at the Ice Vegas Invitational, helping the Broncos win the tournament ... made four blocks in a 1-1 tie against Minnesota-Duluth ... had assist in 5-4 overtime win at Colorado College ... recorded eighth assist in 6-1 win at Miami. 

Juniors: Kucharek comes to WMU after playing three years of junior hockey, most recently in the United States Hockey League (USHL). In 2017-18, Kucharek spent time with the Omaha Lancers and the Madison Capitols. He finished the season with 22 points (5g-17a) in 45 games played and was the second-leading scorer among defenseman on the Madison squad. Prior to joining the USHL, Kucharek had experience playing in leagues such as the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), and the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In 2016-17, Kucharek was the top-scoring defender in the NAPHL with the Meijer AAA Hockey 18-Under Team.
