JUNIORS: Played two years for the Strathroy Rockets of the WJBHL ... was named MVP of the Western Ontario Hockey League after leading his team in scoring with 95 points (46-49) ... named Ontario Hockey Association Junior "B" Player of the Year ... also received the OHA’s Top Prospect award ... was the first player in the 39-year history of the Strathroy Rockets franchise to be drafted to the NHL directly from Junior "B" ... led the Rockets to the OHA Junior "B" finals, only to be beaten by future Bronco teammate Ryan Watson’s Cambridge Winter Hawks ... scored 20 points (11-9) in 18 playoff games .... finished his career with the Rockets with 63 goals and 67 assists for 130 total points in 94 regular season games, also played in 30 playoff games scoring 34 points (15-19).
