CLEVELAND -- Western Michigan graduate student
Lola Glantz has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Singles Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's win over Bowling Green.
Glantz set the tone for singles play for the Broncos in Friday's victory. After dropping the doubles point, Glantz made quick work of BGSU's Tia Clemens at No. 1 with a 6-1, 6-0 win to tie the match up at 1-1. The win was Glantz's ninth in a dual match this season, all coming at No. 1.
Glantz and the Broncos are back in action on Friday at 12 p.m., hosting UMASS.
