Bronco Baseball Announces Promotions For 2026 Season

Kalamazoo, Mich. - Western Michigan Athletics has announced the promotional schedule for the 2026 season of Bronco Baseball, featuring several theme days, promotions, and family-friendly events. Fans in Kalamazoo can expect to enjoy all facets of Bronco Baseball, with new and returning promotions this season. Promotions and game times are subject to change.
 
Season-Long Promotions
Bronco fans can expect a new variety of season-long promotions at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field this season.
  • Music Trivia – The first person to correctly guess the song at the marketing table will receive a prize from WMU Baseball.
  • Guess the Time of the 7th Inning Stretch – Fans can enter to win at the marketing table. The closest guess to the beginning will receive a prize from WMU Baseball.
  • Winning Inning – If Western Michigan scores at least one run in the bottom of the sixth inning, one lucky row will be going home with a prize from WMU Baseball.
  • Tate On Howard Home Run T-Shirt Toss – For each home run the Broncos hit this season, t-shirts will be thrown into the crowd!
  • Select a Song – Fans can vote on the @wmubaseball Instagram story for one song they would like to hear between innings. Fans may only vote for this on the day of the game.
  • Midweek Madness – There will be $2 tickets and select concessions deals for every mid-week home game.
  • Free Dog Fridays – The first 20 students through the gates of Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, redeemable after the 3rd inning.
  • Signature Saturday – Stick around after the Saturday matchups against Ball State (March 21) and Kent State (April 25) for postgame autographs.
  • Kids Run the Bases – Following the conclusion of each Sunday home game, Bronco kids can take a lap around the bases. Limited to kids 13 and younger.
  • Anthem Buddies – Youth baseball and softball players can take the field with the Broncos for the National Anthem. Interested parties can sign up at wmubroncos.com/anthembuddies.

Saturday, March 21 vs Ball State | 1:05 PM
  • Bark in The Park – Bring your dogs to see our dawgs! Doggie bags are available at the marketing table.
  • Signature Saturday – Stick around following the conclusion of the game for autographs from our Broncos!
Saturday, March 28 vs UMass | 1:05 PM
  • Community Day – Join the Broncos for a doubleheader with WMU Softball!
Tuesday, April 7 vs Valparaiso | 3:05 PM
  • Midweek Madness – Join the Broncos with tickets beginning at just $2. Select concessions deals are available.
  • E-Sports Day – Fans can enjoy their favorite video game sounds throughout the game. Grab a limited edition 8-bit Buster Bronco poster at the marketing table.
Wednesday, April 8 vs Goshen College | 3:05 PM
  • Boots n' Bats! - Fans can enjoy our country-themed day at the park.
  • Free pizza for students while supplies last.
Friday, April 10 vs Toledo | 3:05 PM
  • Faculty Staff Appreciation – Faculty and Staff are encouraged to join the Broncos at the park on a beautiful Friday afternoon. WMU Faculty and Staff can be nominated by student-athletes to throw out the first pitch.
  • Free Dog Friday - The first 20 students through the gates of Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, redeemable after the 3rd inning.
 
 
Saturday, April 11 vs Toledo | 1:05 PM
  • Bark in The Park - Bring your dogs to see our dawgs! Doggie bags and water stations are available throughout the stadium.
Saturday, April 25 vs Kent State | 1:05 PM
  • Nine Innings of Winning – Fans can enter to win prizes given out at the end of each inning.
  • Military Appreciation Game -
  • Signature Saturday - Stick around following the conclusion of the game for autographs from our Broncos!
Sunday, April 26 vs Kent State | 1:05 PM
  • Little League Day – Little League teams are encouraged to wear their team uniforms for this game. A special ticket offer will be sent out to all local leagues in Kalamazoo.
  • Kids Run the Bases - Following the conclusion of each Sunday home game, Bronco kids can take a lap around the bases. Limited to kids 13 and younger.
Friday-Sunday, May 1-3 vs Miami (OH) | 3:05 PM, 1:05 PM, 1:05 PM
  • Retro Weekend! - Enjoy tunes from the 90's, 80's, and 70's throughout the weekend.
  • Free Dog Friday - The first 20 students through the gates of Robert J. Bobb field will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, redeemable after the 3rd inning.
  • Kids Run the Bases - Following the conclusion of each Sunday home game, Bronco kids can take a lap around the bases. Limited to kids 13 and younger.
Friday, May 15 vs Northern Illinois | 2:05 PM
  • Fan Appreciation Day – Fan giveaways throughout the game! One fan that completes an online enter-to-win form will be given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.
  • Free Dog Friday - The first 20 students through the gates of Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, redeemable after the 3rd inning.
Saturday, May 16 vs Northern Illinois | 1:05 PM
  • Senior Day! - Join us at home one last time as we celebrate the accomplishments of our 2026 Senior class. Senior Day flowers are presented by Ambati Flowers.
