KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan men's tennis head coach
Dave Morin reached 500 career wins with the Brown & Gold as the Broncos defeated Wayne State, 5-2, at West Hills Athletic Club on Saturday afternoon.
Morin, the winningest coach in program history, has led WMU (3-0) to 14 MAC Regular Season Championships and 15 MAC Tournament Championships as he enters his 29th year at the helm.
Wayne State jumped on the Broncos early, taking two of the three doubles matches to earn the point.

Oscar Corwin tied things up at 1-1 after a 6-3, 6-4 win over Benjamin Hill at No. 3. The Broncos then took the lead when
Chen-Hui Ho earned a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2. The lead expanded to 3-1 on a 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 win by sophomore
Jack Davison at No. 5. The match-winning point came from sophomore
Dimitri Moriarty at No. 6, defeating Sam Knowles 7-6 (7-4), 6-3. Junior
Matej Kajzer added the fifth and final point with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4 over Luis Klaus.
Western Michigan is back at it again on Monday with a double-header at Notre Dame. The Broncos open the day taking on Duquesne and then the Fighting Irish.
