KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team resumes action this weekend, with select members of the team competing at the 49th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic at the Western Racquet Club and Nicolet Tennis Center.
Doubles action starts at 12 p.m. ET, with
Sienna Osborne and
Polina Khotko paired up to take on Ashley Matz from FLorida Gulf Coast and Sasha Sakura Stula from DuPaul.
Marielou Baudouin and
Audrey Smitek pair up to take on Martina Bovio and Serafima Bobronvinkova from Lipscomb.
Lola Glantz and
Frida Weijerman were given a bye and will play the winner of a match between South Florida and Arkansas State.
In singles, Osborne is set to play Mary Bellia from the U.S. Naval Academy, with the winner advancing to play Ashley Matz From Florida Gulf Coast. Glantz will take on Sarah Millard from Arkansas State, with the winner set to play Ellison Reynoldson from Wisconsin. Weijerman is matched up against Owen Wilkinson from Mississippi, with the winner playing Ball State's Sarah Shahbaz. WMU's fourth and final singles competitor is Khotko, who will play Martaa Chogsomjav from Kansas State. Osborne, Glantz and Wiejerman will play at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, with Khotko set to start at 4 p.m.
