Baltimore Ravens Draft WMU CB Bilhal Kone in the Sixth Round

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Western Michigan senior cornerback Bilhal Kone has been selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the 178th pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Kone is the 54th Bronco to be taken in the NFL Draft and his selection marks the fourth straight year one has been drafted. Western Michigan has had 12 players drafted in the past 10 years. Kone is also the first Bronco to be drafted by the Baltimore Ravens. This also marks the second straight season a Western Michigan player has been drafted under head coach Lance Taylor. 

The Apple Valley, Min., native had his best season in his final one at Western Michigan. Kone played in and started all 13 games at cornerback and posted a career-high 70 tackles, ranking fourth on the team. He also a career-high 10 passes defended with nine pass breakups and one interception. The production was all done in spite of teams avoiding throwing in his direction. 

After his career season, Kone participated in the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl and then the NFL Combine. 

In his two seasons at Western Michigan, he totaled 112 tackles three tackles for loss, two interceptions, 18 pass breakups and 20 passes defended in 25 games. Kone also played a season at Indiana State and two at Iowa Central Community College.
