KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan continued its impressive 2024-25 season this past weekend, securing the program's first trip to the Frozen Four. That helped the Broncos earn their highest ranking in program history.

The Brown and Gold were ranked No. 1 in the nation for the first time in program history this week, earning a program-best 29 first-place votes. WMU's previous high ranking was No. 3 in the nation, which was also achieved this season.

The Broncos are up to a program record 32 wins and will take on No. 2 Denver in the NCAA Semifinals. NCHC wise, Arizona State and North Dakota were also ranked this week. The NCHC leads the nation with two teams in the Frozen Four this season.

Puck drop for WMU's NCAA Semifinal game is set for 5 PM ET/4 PM CT in St. Louis, Mo on April 10. More in-depth ticket and game information are available at WMUBroncos.com/FrozenFourTicketInfo.
