AUSTIN, Texas -- The sprints, hurdles and jumps group spent the weekend down south, splitting time between Texas and Texas State. The Broncos came away with some strong results across three days of competition.
Mabinty Kebe nearly bested her PR time in the 400 hurdles. She posted a time of 59.47.
Angel Pratt also ran in the event, earning a time of 1:06.64. Sticking with hurdles,
Sandra Ferrari ran well in the 100-meter hurdles. She collected a time of 14.56. She then went on to post a mark of 5.33 meters in the long jump.
Anichka Malachi stayed busy this weekend, competing in both the long jump and triple jump. She registered a leap of 5.25 meters in the long jump and followed that up with a jump of 11.47 meters in the triple jump.
Relay wise, Ferrari, Pratt,
Laurie-Ann Desormes and
Soniya Jones were able to post a time of 48.14 in the 4x100 relay.
