KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team fell to Northern Illinois, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon at West Hill Athletic Club.

Marielou Baudouin made quick work of Isabella Righi and Lucia Yecora, 6-0, at No. 2. Graduate student
Lola Glantz and junior
Audrey Smitek clinched the point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 over Nataly Ninova and Maria Dzemenshkevich.
NIU dominated in singles, winning five of the six matches in two sets. Glantz and Dzemenshkevich went to three sets at No. 1. Glantz took the first set 6-4, but Dzemenshkevich won the second set 6-4 and the third 6-3.
The Broncos head to Eastern Michigan on Friday at 12 p.m. before returning home to host Toledo on Sunday, also at 12 p.m.
