Box Score YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Western Michigan football team clinched its spot in the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championship Game after downing Eastern Michigan 31-21 at Rynearson Stadium on Tuesday night.
Eastern Michigan struck first with a touchdown in the first quarter, but the Broncos scored 31 straight points and forced five turnovers to punch their ticket to the team's fourth MAC Championship game in program history.

Redshirt sophomore quarterback
Broc Lowry rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns, while passing for 100 yards.
Jalen Buckley had 70 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown, while
Tailique Williams had a career-high 67 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Aaron Wofford,
Joey Pope and
Sefa Saipaia Jr. all recorded interceptions, while
Nadame Tucker had a strip sack.
Tate Hallock led the Broncos with seven tackles and had a forced fumble that resulted in a 35-yard return by
John Peters.
The MAC Championship game is set for Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m. on ESPN. WMU's opponent is still to be determined with the rest of the MAC completing the regular season on Friday and Saturday.
