KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team picked up its fourth-straight win after a 6-1 decision over Grand Valley State on Friday afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club.
WMU got the early advantage after earning the doubles point. Sophomore

Christine Gouws put the pressure on with a 6-2 win at No. 3 over Kalomoira Ralli and Ipek Sakiroglu. GSU countered with a win at No. 2 but graduate student
Lola Glantz and junior
Audrey Smitek secured the point with a 7-5 win at No. 1.
Freshman
Sienna Osborne expanded on the lead to make it 2-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 over Vale Mozas. Glantz pushed the lead to 3-0 with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 1 over Neus Ramos. Frazier clinched the match victory after beating Sakiroglu 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) to make it 4-0. Gouws pushed the lead to 5-0 with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) win over Estefania Hernandez at No. 4 before Ralli got GVSU on the board with a win at No. 5 over Smitek. WMU's sixth and final point came from graduate student
Polina Khotko and her 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 win over Anna Soteras at No. 2.
The Broncos are back at it on Saturday morning at Notre Dame, with first serve at 11 a.m.
