KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's basketball team released the remainder of its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season on Wednesday.

"We are excited to announce our non-conference schedule," WMU head coach Dwayne Stephens said. "We have put together a schedule that is challenging and will prepare us for the conference season. Including our exhibition against Kalamazoo College (Oct. 30), we have 16 total opportunities for you to come out to University Arena to support our team - the most since the 2019-20 season. We look forward to seeing you soon!"

The Broncos begin the 2024-25 campaign with the first game of the previously announced MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The opening game of the challenge sends Western Michigan down to Conway, S.C., to face Coastal Carolina on Monday, Nov. 4. WMU is set to face a second Sun Belt foe at home on Feb. 8, with that matchup to be announced in January.

Western Michigan's first home game of the season is set for Nov. 7, with the Brown and Gold playing host to Davenport. On Nov. 11, the Broncos take a trip to Indianapolis to face Butler.

WMU returns to University Arena to host the Bronco Classic the weekend of Nov. 15-17. The Broncos face SIUE on Nov. 15 and then Canisius on Nov. 17. The Cougars and Golden Griffins will play each other on Nov. 16. Western Michigan wraps up its three-game homestand on Nov. 20 against South Dakota.

The Brown and Gold hit the road for the next four games and five of the final six games of the calendar year, with the road swing beginning on Nov. 27 at Youngstown State. WMU opens the month of December with a visit to Dayton (Dec. 3), then follows that up with road tilts against a pair of Summit League teams in St. Thomas (Dec. 13) and North Dakota State (Dec. 15).

Western Michigan's final home game of 2024 is slated for Dec. 20 against Valparaiso. Following the holiday break, the Broncos head to Michigan State on Dec. 30 for their final tune-up before conference play.
