Women's Tennis Announces Roster Additions for 2024-25 Season

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team has announced the addition of three student-athletes for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Broncos welcome incoming freshmen Sienna Osborne and Frida Weijerman, along with graduate transfer Lola Glantz from Florida Gulf Coast.

"I couldn't be more excited about the addition of these three student-athletes to the roster," said first-year head coach Joelle Kissell. "They bring a lot of talent, excitement and energy that will make an impact on our program right away."

Osborne joins WMU from the east side of Michigan, hailing from Clarkston, Mich. She is rated a four-star recruit and is ranked 91st in her class according to TennisRecruiting.net. She graduated from Lake Orion High School, where she qualified for the state tournament as a freshman and a sophomore. In 2023 she won the U16's L2 Doubles Championship in Cary, N.C.

Weijerman joins the Broncos all the way from Gothenburg, Sweden. She is a two-time Swedish Doubles National Champion and has made it into the semifinals in the singles' tournament.

Glantz, a native of Lueneburg, Germany, played three seasons at FGCU before coming to Kalamazoo. She had 13 dual-match singles wins in three seasons, along with five doubles wins. Prior to Florida Gulf Coast, she reached a national ranking of 138 in Germany.
