The Western Michigan Athletics Fall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations for the upcoming 2024 WMU Athletics Hall of Fame Class.

This year's class will be inducted on Friday, Oct. 25 and recognized at WMU Football's game against Kent State at Saturday, Oct. 26.

"As we maintain our commitment to fostering high-quality connections with our alumni, the WMU Athletics Hall of Fame and Homecoming weekend offers us a chance to honor the rich history of Bronco athletics and celebrate former student-athletes who achieved exceptional success and contributed significantly to their programs," said WMU Vice President/Director of Athletics
Dan Bartholomae.
To be eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame, nominees must meet the following criteria:Â
- A student-athlete becomes eligible for nomination to the Hall of Fame ten years after graduation or withdrawal from the University.Â
- An athlete must have earned at least two letters in one sport or one letter in two different sports and have had significant team, conference, or national honors and accomplishments.Â
- A member of the University staff must have served the University for a minimum of five years.Â
- An outstanding career as an athlete or staff member must be complemented by an exemplary career in the individual's profession or occupation, a record that reflects credit to the person and this University

Anyone may submit a nomination usingÂ
the official nomination form. Nominations can be supported with letters of recommendation. The nomination deadline for the 2024 class is Friday, July 19.Â

All nominations are reviewed by the Hall of Fame selection committee for statistical and biographical verification and then discussed and put forth for a vote. Election into the Hall of Fame is by a unanimous vote by the selection committee. Â
