KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan track and field team will split up this weekend for a pair of meets at Grand Valley State and Boston University. Both the GVSU Big Meet and David Hemery Valentine Invitational will take place on Friday, Feb. 9.

RECORDS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN

ROBINSON'S INCREDIBLE SEASON
Since transferring from Southern Illinois,
Bri'Yanna Robinson has been nothing but great for the Broncos. In four of her five meets to start the season, she has posted at least one top-10 mark in program history. As of right now, she is No. 4 in program history in the shot put.
Robinson was named the Mid-American Conference Field Athlete of the Week back in December and holds the No. 2 shot put mark in the MAC so far this season. Her throw of 15.08 meters is also tied for 90th in the nation.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The Western Michigan track and field team hasn't just been producing athletic results, as the group posted one of the best team GPA's in the entire athletic department.
