After Three Straight Road Matches, Women's Tennis Hosts Chicago State on Sunday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After spending its last three matches on the road, the Western Michigan women's tennis team returns home on Sunday to host Chicago State at West Hills Athletic Club. First serve is at 12 p.m. and admission is free. 

LAST WEEK
The Broncos traveled out to Pittsburgh, Pa., for matches against Duquense and St. Francis (PA). WMU opened the weekend by sweeping the Dukes, 4-0. Western Michigan then followed up with a 4-1 win over the Red Flash,

SHUTTING IT DOWN
WMU is 3-1 on the season so far. In Western Michigan's three wins, the team has dropped just one point, a singles match against SFU. The Broncos have two sweeps so far, with wins of 7-0 over Ferris State and 4-0 over DU. Overall, Western Michigan has only lost three total points through the first four matches. 

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Chicago State dropped its first three matches of the season, falling to Cincinnati (0-4), Miami Ohio (0-7) and Indiana (1-6). CSU picked up its first win of the season last weekend, a 5-2 win over Marquette at home. 

ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan is home for two of its next three matches, beginning next Friday against Purdue Northwest at 1 p.m. WMU then heads to Michigan State next Sunday for a 12 p.m. start. The Broncos then host Oakland on Friday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m.
