KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team can announce the signing of Matej Kajzer to a National Letter of Intent. Kazjer will join the Broncos in the Fall of 2023.
Kajzer joins the Broncos from Montreal, Quebec. He has risen as high as 12th, nationally, in Canada's U18 rankings. He was recently runner-up at the 2022 Boys U18 Indoor National Doubles tournament. Kajzer has also reached a career-best ITF ranking of 379.
"We are super excited to have Matej join our class for Fall 2023," said head coach Dave Morin. "He's a very accomplished and talented young man that brings a strong, competitive mentality to the tennis court. We believe he will fit right into the culture of our team and bring a toughness that sets him a part from many of his peers."
Kajzer joins Ashton Adesoro, Alvin Altman, Drew Evans and Dimitri Moriarty in the recruiting class that was announced back in November.
