Max Sasson Signs Entry-Level Contract with Vancouver Canucks

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Max Sasson on a two-year, entry-level contract. He will report to the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) on an amateur tryout agreement.

Sasson was incredible during his two years with the Broncos, tallying 64 points in 75 games. He finished his collegiate career with 24 goals and 40 assists. During his sophomore campaign, Sasson finished third on the team in points with 42. He lit the lamp 15 times, while dishing out 27 assists. He had five power-play goals and four game-winning goals this season.

Playing as the team's first-line center throughout the season, Sasson played a key role in helping the Broncos conclude the regular season with their best NCHC finish in program history. Not only that, but he also helped WMU reach back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. During his two-year career at WMU, the Broncos won 49 games.
