KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team picked up its fourth-straight win after a 6-1 victory over Cleveland State on Sunday at West Hills Athletic Club.
The Broncos started off taking the doubles point, the first team to do so against Cleveland State this season.

Valeriya Monko continued their winning ways, earning a 6-3 win at No. 1 over Bethany Yauch and Sima Heren to give WMU the advantage. Senior

Ariane Souligny clinched the point with a 6-3 win over Selma Tounsi and Filippa Frogner at No. 2.
Zieglar pushed Western Michigan's lead to 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 over Oihane Vicario. CSU picked up its lone point at No. 3, with Tereze Vevere defeating
Maya Perkucin 7-5, 6-1.
Karin Hamilton extended the WMU's lead to 3-1 with a win at No. 2, 6-4, 6-1 over Yauch. Freshman
Audrey Smitek clinched the match victory for the Broncos with a 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 win over Avery Durham at No. 6. Souligny and Monko both picked up wins at No. 5 and No. 4 to round out the win.
Western Michigan begins a six-match road trip next Saturday at Valparaiso at 1 p.m.
