KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan track and field squad will continue its indoor season this weekend, as the Broncos will compete at the Gladstein Invitational hosted by Indiana on Jan. 20-21.
WMU will see some stiff competition, as multiple teams will be participating. The Broncos will see Miami (OH), Butler, Dayton and Ball State, among others. The meet will consist of the 20lb weight throw, pole vault, triple jump, shot put, high jump, long jump, 3,000-meter run, 400-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles, 60-meter dash, mile run, 5,000-meter run, 200-meter dash, 600-meter run, 800-meter run, 4x800 relay and 4x400 relay.

"For most of the group, we got the rust buster out of the way last week. Heading into the meet this weekend we are now looking for growth. This meet is going to have more competition and a few MAC schools we have yet to compete against, which should be good for us to see early on in the season."
