KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team looks to rebound after a pair of season-opening losses when it travels to Detroit Mercy to take on the Titans on Thursday at 1 p.m.

WMU (0-2) opened the season at Butler, falling 5-0, and then battled No. 16 Notre Dame to a 2-0 loss on Sunday.
SCOUTING THE TITANS
Detroit Mercy (1-1) opened the season down in Florida, picking up a 2-1 win at Florida Gulf Coast before falling 4-0 at Florida Atlantic. Freshman Sophia Blakenship and junior Gabby Ketola tallied the Titans' two goals in the win over the Eagles. Jazmine Scott started both games for DM, making nine total saves so far.
ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan stays on the road, heading to Arkansas next Thursday to take on the Lady Razorbacks at 8 p.m. The Broncos then finally return home to welcome Cincinnati for their home-opener on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. for their annual Pride Day game. Admission is free to all WMU soccer games.
