KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team heads to Florida and Bethune-Cookman University to take on the Wildcats on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
The match was originally scheduled for 12 p.m. but was moved to combat possible weather issues.
WMU has won its last four matches, improving its record to 7-4 on the season. The Broncos have one more non-conference match, a home contest against Illinois-Chicago on Thursday, March 17, before opening Mid-American Conference play on the road at Ball State on March 20.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Bethune-Cookman is 0-6 this season, most recently falling at home to Oakland, 6-1.
HOMECOMING
Bethune-Cookman is located in Daytona Beach, Fla., the same hometown as junior Lindsey Zieglar. Also returning to her home state is junior Kiana Rizzolo, who hails from Palm Beach Gardens.
KEEP ON ROLLING
Sophomore Karin Hamilton has been on fire during the dual match season. After opening with a loss at Michigan to No. 120th-ranked Nicole Hammond, she has won her last eight singles matches. Seven of the eight wins have come in two sets.
ON THE HORIZON
The Broncos are back in action on March 17 against the Flames at 1 p.m.
