CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan football team landed seven players on the All-Mid-American Conference team, led by First Team All-MAC selection linebacker Zaire Barnes.
 
Barnes had 61 total tackles in MAC play, with 2.0 for loss, 0.5 sacks, one interception and five pass breakups. Barnes also had one forced fumble and a team-best three fumble recoveries.
 
Wide receiver Corey Crooms, running back Sean Tyler, defensive lineman Andre Carter and defensive tackle Braden Fiske were Second Team All-MAC selections. Crooms led the Broncos with 43 receptions for 599 yards and four touchdowns in conference play. Tyler rushed for a team-best 845 yards on 159 carries and five touchdowns. Carter led the team with 10.5 tackles for loss in MAC play, with 45 total tackles and a team-best six sacks. Carter also had one interception, two forced fumbles, six quarterback hurries and one safety. Fiske had eight tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 37 total tackles, seven quarterback hurries, two forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
 
Middle linebacker Corvin Moment and cornerback Keni-H Lovely were both named Third Team All-MAC. Moment had 49 tackles in MAC play, including eight for loss and 5.5 sacks. Lovely led the Broncos with three interceptions, including a pick-six against Toledo. Lovely also had 32 tackles and two pass breakups.
