KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team concludes its regular season road schedule this weekend as it heads to Mount Pleasant for a pair of matches against Central Michigan.

THE FIRST SERVE
Western Michigan heads north to Mount Pleasant this weekend for its final two road matches of the regular season against rival Central Michigan.

LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos are coming off of a pair of straight-set wins over Eastern Michigan last weekend at University Arena, extending their winning streak against the Eagles to nine in a row. 

ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
Western Michigan enters the final three contests of the regular season tied for seventh in the MAC standings, with the top-six reaching the upcoming conference tournament. The Broncos can guarantee themselves a spot in the MAC Tournament if they win each of their final three matches. 

CHASING THE CHIPPEWAS
Central Michigan enters the weekend in a three-way tie for fourth in the conference standings, just ahead of the Broncos in the tight race for the top-six. Western Michigan holds a 61-42 lead in the all-time series, and has swept the season series from the Chippewas each of the last two seasons. 

LONG LIVE THE KING
Western Michigan's Maggie King was named the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and fifth time overall this season on Monday. Last weekend, King had 29 kills (4.83/set) on a .279 hitting percentage, 31.5 points (5.25/set) and added a pair of service aces as the Broncos swept Eastern Michigan. For the season, the senior leads the conference in kills (386) and total points (437.0). She also ranks second in both kills/set (3.86) and points/set (4.37), and is third in service aces (39) and aces/set (0.39).

MUNSON'S MILESTONE
With the two victories over Eastern Michigan last weekend, WMU's Colleen Munson reached 400 career wins as a head coach. Of her 400 wins, 348 have come with the Broncos, with the first 52 
coming as the head coach at East Carolina. 

ANDI'S ACHIEVEMENT
WMU libero Andelyn Simkins collected 17 digs in Friday's win over EMU to become the 12th Bronco in program history to reach 1,000 career digs. The junior has posted double-digit digs in 17 straight matches for Western Michigan.
