BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell on the road at Indiana, 2-1, on Thursday night at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
WMU took an early lead but the Hoosiers scored twice in less than a minute in the second half to flip the game. IU had a substantial shots advantage at 24-2, with senior goalkeeper
Maggie Rogers making seven saves on the night.
The Broncos took a 1-0 lead in the 42nd minute on
Bailey Korhorn's team-leading fourth goal of the season. Korhorn took advantage of a Hoosier turnover and dribbled into the middle of the box before slotting it into the low-right corner of the net.
WMU held the lead into the second half until Jen Blitchok tied it up at 1-1 in the 60th minute. Less than a minute later Blitchok set up Jordyn Levy for the game-winning goal.
Western Michigan returns home to host No. 25 USC on Sunday at 11 a.m. Admission is free. The game can also be watched live on ESPN+.
