Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan enters the weekend with an overall record of 21-25 and 20-16 in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos are coming off a series loss last weekend at Kent State and will look to rebound having won six of the last seven series against Ohio.

Connor Charping has 28 stolen bases this season, tied for the third most in a single-season in school history. With four games remaining, Charping is just four away from breaking the single-season school record.

MAC Success
Western Michigan's 20 MAC wins this season is the most since having 20 back in 1999. The Broncos need just one victory to secure its first winning conference record since 2012.
Scouting the Opponent
Ohio heads into the final weekend of the regular season with an overall record of 27-22 and 18-18 in MAC play. Last weekend the Bobcats split with Miami, losing the first two games before clinching the final two.
Offensively the Bobcats have a .264 team batting average and are led by Isaiah Petersen who leads the team in runs scored (36), home runs (9) and RBIs (34). Overall Ohio has eight players with at least 20 runs scored and six with at least five home runs.
On the mound the Bobcats boast a 4.82 team ERA and are led by the duo of Edward Kutt IV and Joe Rock. Each pitcher has eight wins on the season with Rock registering a 2.29 ERA while Kutt IV has a 2.91 ERA.
