KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team and head coach Andy Murray have announced the National Collegiate Hockey Conference schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
 
WMU welcomes Minnesota-Duluth, St. Cloud State, Omaha, North Dakota, Denver and Miami to Lawson Ice Arena, while traveling to DU, MU, Colorado College, UMD, SCSU and UND.
 
All times and dates are subject to change. All NCHC games will be streamed live on NCHC.tv unless noted.
 
WMU opens NCHC play hosting the Bulldogs on Nov. 5-6 before heading on the road to take on the Pioneers on Nov. 2-13. The Huskies come to Lawson Ice Arena on Nov. 19-20, with the Broncos heading down to Oxford, Ohio to battle the RedHawks on Dec. 3-4. Western Michigan wraps up the 2021 portion of the conference season hosting the Mavericks on Dec. 10-11, with no return trip to Omaha this season.
 
The Broncos resume conference play on Jan. 14-15 at CC's new Ed Robson Arena before hosting the reigning NCHC Regular Season Champion Fighting Hawks on Jan. 21-22. WMU then heads back out on the road to Minnesota-Duluth on Jan. 28-29 and opens February in the state of Minnesota at St. Cloud State on the 4-5. Denver returns to Lawson Ice Arena on Feb. 18-19, with WMU making the return trip to North Dakota to close out the month on Feb. 25-26. Western Michigan wraps up the regular season hosting Miami on March 4-5.
 
The NCHC Quarterfinals are slated for March 11-13, with the 2022 NCHC Frozen Faceoff taking place on March 18-19.
