LIVONIA, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team fell to Eastern Michigan, 2-1, on the road at the St. Joe's Sports Dome on Sunday afternoon.

Maggie Rogers made eight saves. The Eagles only slightly outshot the Broncos on the day, 16-14 overall.
EMU took an early lead on a goal by Amanda Cripps in the eighth minute with an assist to Sabrina McNeill. Eastern Michigan scored again this time early in the second half in the 53rd minute. Lexy Alston made it 2-0 on her second goal of the season, with Kennady Kuhlman picking up the assist.
Schilling netted her first collegiate goal to cut the lead to 2-1 in the 71st minute, with the goal coming unassisted.
WMU outshot EMU 9-5 in the second half but the Eagles kept the Broncos out of the net after Schilling's goal to preserve their win.
Bailey Korhorn led the Broncos with five shots, landing two on goal.
WMU returns home to host Northern Illinois on Thursday at 2 p.m. before hosting Ball State for Senior Day on Sunday at 2 p.m.
