WMU improved to 4-1 in conference play and 14-1 overall on the season, including an impressive 5-0 on the road.

It was a tight battle for the doubles point. Buffalo's Pia Schwarz and Ambre Amat put the Bulls ahead after defeating Femke Tjona-A-Joe and Kristina Tiraspolsky, 6-4. The Broncos evented it at 1-1 after Lindsey Zieglear and Karin Hamilton won at No. 3 over Azra Deniz Comlek and Lolina Schietekat Sedas 6-4. The newly formed duo of Ana Guadiana and Kaitlyn Rogosh clinched the doubles point after a thrilling 7-5 win at No. 2 over Nikoleta Antoniou-Karademitrou and Gabriella Akopyan.

Hamilton pushed the lead to 2-0, earning the first singles victory of the day for the Broncos after defeating Hsin Yuan Shih at No. 4, 6-0, 6-2. Zieglar made it 3-0 in WMU's favor after a win at No. 3 over Amrat, 6-3, 6-2. The Bulls cut the lead to 3-1 after Deniz Comlek defeated freshman Maya Perkucin 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 but Guadiana secured the victory for Western Michigan with a win at No. 2.
