Reilly Jacobson to Play Another Season With Broncos

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan women's basketball forward Reilly Jacobson has announced on Thursday she will be returning to Kalamazoo for her final season of collegiate basketball.

"I am returning because I love my teammates and coaching staff and this past season's record did not reflect the team we were becoming at the end of the season," said Jacobson. "I am super excited to train with each of my teammates this summer and we have a lot to prove as a team next year."

"I'm very confident next year we will be competing for a Mid-American Conference Championship and that excites me the most," said Jacobson.

Jacobson this past season led the Broncos at 16.1 points per game en route to being named All-MAC Honorable Mention. Jacobson ranked second in the MAC with a .504 field goal percentage and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.412).

The senior forward posted back-to-back 20-point games to end the season and scored 20 or more in four of the final five contests for the Brown & Gold. Overall the Waukee, Iowa., native scored in double figures in 18 of the 21 games played with six 20-point performances.

For her collegiate career both at Western Michigan and North Dakota State, Jacobson has totaled 968 career points with 482 coming with the Broncos. In her career Jacobson has played in 98 games, starting 35.
