KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- With the reigning MAC Gymnast of the Week in tow, the Western Michigan gymnastics team returns to the road for a dual meet at Bowling Green on Saturday, Feb. 13. Action begins at 4 p.m. ET.

WMU (2-3) enters the meet with the MAC Gymnast of the Week in
Payton Murphy, who captured the all-around title at the Eagle Invitational a week ago. As a team, the Broncos defeated Kent State while falling to Eastern Michigan and Ball State while still posting a season-high team score of 195.575.
Murphy's 39.325 was just .025 off the program record. The sophomore recorded her second 9.900 of the season on the beam, while posting a career-high 9.875 on floor exercise and matching her career-best on vault at 9.800.

Bowling Green (0-4) hosts WMU with it's most recent outing being a 195.050-179.250 setback at the hands of Central Michigan. The Falcons posted their top team score of the season in their initial meet with a team mark of 190.550 against Kent State. Taylor Jensen owns the top marks of the year for BGSU in all-around, floor and beam. Alexandra Fochler has matched Jensen on the beam while posting the team's top score of the season on uneven bars.
