KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team kicks off the 2021-22 season with its annual Brown & Gold Intrasquad Meet on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at University Arena.
Attendance for the meet is free but masks are required and spectators must stay in the upper portion of the stands in the arena.
Brown Team Roster: Trinity Bracey, Kennedy Campeau, Grace Johnson, Anne Jordan, Delaney Knoll, Alex Lutz, Rebecca McNamee, Ahvon Mitchell, Madison Ochs, LaJeanee' Porter, Lizzy Shontz, Brooke Soper, Katelyn Spooner.
Gold Team Roster: Merrigan Allen, Lexie Allhouse, Sarinity Bracey, Taylor Eaton, Claira Gilchrist, Brittney Hall, Annalise James, Lily Kucharek, Azaria McGee-Grantham, Kailyn Mince, Alayna Ostling, Maggie Raab.
The meet begins at 10 a.m. with the weight throw and will be followed by six more events. A senior presentation to celebrate the careers of Aniya Davis, Courtney Allen and Charlotte Ramser is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. The meet is set to conclude after the 4x400-meter run at 12:45 p.m.

ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan takes a break for finals and the holidays before returning to action at the Central Michigan Invitational on Friday, Jan. 14. The indoor schedule also features trips to Grand Valley State (Feb. 5), Kent State (Feb. 11-12) and Notre Dame (Feb. 19). The 2022 Indoor MAC Championships are set for Feb. 25-26 at KSU. The indoor season concludes with the NCAA Indoor Championships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, March 11-12.
