CLEVELAND – Western Michigan men's soccer's Daniel Nimick, Charlie Sharp and Dylan Sing have all been named Second Team All-Mid-American Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
The All-MAC team is voted on by the league's coaches and only conference statistics are considered.
Nimick was a stalwart at centerback for the Broncos, helping them produce seven shots on the season, including one in MAC play. The Harrogate, England, native was WMU's go-to set piece taker and finished the season with three assists. This is the second straight season he has earned All-MAC honors after earning a spot on the first team last season.
Sharp also earns his second All-MAC honors of his career. The junior forward finished tied for the team lead with five goals and also had three assists for 13 points. Sharp had a goal and the game-winning assist in WMU's 4-3 overtime win over Akron. The Brighton, Mich., native also led the team with 45 shots on the season.
Sing had a career-best season, matching Sharp with five goals and three assists for the team lead with 13 points. He also had a goal and an assist in the win over Akron, while also netting a pair of goals against Dayton and tallies against Butler and Fort Wayne this season. His five goals came on just 11 shots on goal on the season. This is the first All-MAC honors for the Berrien Center, Mich., native.
