AM:Â I have so many amazing memories from this season that it is hard to pick one. One that stands out to me was Senior Day against Kent State. That was truly one of the best experiences of my life!Â
WMU: With a few weeks having passed since the MAC Championship was canceled, how are you processing your season ending so abruptly?
AM: It has definitely been hard to process everything that has happened. I am trying to stay as positive as I can. I know that this is a hard time for everyone around me. Therefore, I continue to remind myself that this is bigger than just me and that the right precautions are being taken.
WMU: What is an accomplishment you're most proud of from this season's team?
AM:Â The impact we had on our fans this season. We received multiple letters from parents that praised us for how we interacted with their children. It is an honor to be able to compete, but an even bigger honor to be able to use our sport to positively impact the people around us!
WMU: What is one lesson this year's team taught you?
AM: Being a senior, I learned so much from each and every one of my teammates. Each person on this team has had an impact on our overall success. I would not be the leader I am today without learning from all of these girls. They inspire me to be better every day! I am truly blessed to be a part of this team!
WMU: What do you miss most about being at Western Michigan?
AM: What I miss most is not being able to see my WMU family every day. They brighten up my day in every way! I am glad that we continue to stay connected during this time.
