The Broncos are looking to improve to 5-0 in dual meets and 4-0 in Mid-American Conference competition. WMU is aiming for its first 4-0 beginning in MAC dual meets since 2006, when it recorded victories against Kent State, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Bowling Green.
Last weekend, Western Michigan returned home and topped Bowling Green 194.925-193.975. The lead belonged to the Broncos for the majority of the day as the team started strong and finished even stronger. The final event for WMU on Sunday was the floor, which produced the third-highest score in program history with a 49.275. JuniorÂ
Stacie Harrison finished with a 9.900 to tie her personal best and the sixth-best mark by a Bronco on the floor. Western Michigan finished with a team tally of 194.9 or higher for the third time this winter.

The team floor performance on Sunday was just shy of the 49.300 produced against UIC on February 29, 2004, and matched two weeks later versus Kent State on March 14, 2004. Individually,
Cherisse Marier owns the WMU record on the floor with a 9.975 against the Flames during the February 2004 meet.
Against Ball State, the Broncos have won three of the last four dual meets as the Cardinals topped Western Michigan 194.475-193.400 on February 3, 2019, in Muncie, Ind. A year ago, Ball State had the lead throughout the contest, led by a 49.175 on vault during the first rotation. WMU's
Morgan Spence won the all-around title, totaling a 38.925. In addition to finishing runner-up on bars, she also placed second on the floor exercise with a 9.775 and fourth on beam with a 9.750.
