LAST TIME OUT
Western Michigan earned a 69-55 win over Bowling Green in their rematch against the Falcons inside University Arena.

The Broncos dominated in their third straight conference win, leading throughout the contest on their way to a double-digit victory. Western Michigan led by as many as 17 points behind strong performances from the five starters as well as a number of Broncos contributing points off the bench.

Redshirt senior Breanna Mobley tied her season-high of 23 points, adding 13 rebounds for her 16th double-double of the season. She contributed 12 points in the third quarter alone, and went 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Jordan Walker and Chelayne Bailey also went into the double-digits, Walker with 15 points and five rebounds and Bailey adding 13 points and a team-high four assists. Sydney Shafer added eight points off the bench, helped by 2-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc.

Western Michigan's five turnovers were their lowest in a game since at least 2004, and their third straight win marked their longest streak during the conference season since 2016.

SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
The Broncos finished the nonconference portion of their season with an 8-4 mark, including four wins on the road. Western Michigan heads into Saturday's contest with a 7-6 record in conference play, coming off of three straight wins including a road victory against Northern Illinois. The squad is led by Jordan Walker and Breanna Mobley. Walker has led the team in scoring this season with 15.2 points per game, while Mobley averages a double-double with 13.7 points and 11.0 rebounds, making an appearance at 11th in the MAC in scoring.

SERIES HISTORY
Toledo leads the series history against the Broncos 59-22 with a 30-8 advantage on the Rocket's home court. In Western Michigan's 2019-20 conference opener, the Broncos downed the Rockets by an 84-72 margin for their first win against the MAC West foe since 2014. In the game, four of the five Bronco starters had double-digit performances. Leighah-Amori Wool led WMU with an impressive career-high 23 points, shooting 8-for-12 from the field, a team high 3-for-5 from three-point range, and 4-for-4 at the free throw line.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo enters the contest with an 11-13 record on the season and a 6-7 mark in conference play. They are coming off of three straight losses including a matchup against MAC East frontrunner Ohio and a close contest with Ball State. Toledo averages 67.1 points per game with 36.6 rebounds.

RECORD-BREAKING BRONCO
Breanna Mobley is dominating the rebounding category this season, breaking multiple records in her senior season. Mobley surpassed 1,000 rebounds against Ball State to become the second-ever Bronco to have scored 1,000 points and rebounds in her career. She became a member of the 1,000-point club against Miami on Jan. 20, 2018. The record puts her alongside former WMU legend and coach Pat Charity, who hit the milestone in the 1977-78 season. On Feb. 3 against Miami (Ohio), Mobley moved up to 1,028 rebounds to tie the all-time rebounding record, also earned by Charity, and broke the record on Feb. 8 against Eastern Michigan to move to 1,038 rebounds in her career. Mobley now holds the rebounding record for all of Bronco basketball.

ASSIST GAME STRONG
Western Michigan ranks fifth in the Mid-American conference in assists, with seven players contributing assists in the double-digits, four of whom are starters for the squad. On Saturday against Northern Illinois, several Broncos broke into new helper milestones. Chelayne Bailey surpassed 80 assists to continue leading the team with the eighth-highest number in the MAC. Leighah-Amori Wool ranks 14th in the conference and passed 70 assists on the season, while Jordan Walker hit the 60-assists mark and Breanna Mobley got to 30 total.
