KALAMAZOO, Mich. -  On Monday Western Michigan football senior defensive end Ali Fayad was named to the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week following his performance last week against Toledo.

Fayad earned a spot on the team after securing two tackles, one for loss, a sack and forcing a fumble. Fayad's forced fumble in the second quarter against the Rockets was the ninth of his career.

This season Fayad has six tackles, three for loss and two sacks. The Dearborn, Mich., native ranks sixth in the Mid-American Conference in tackles for loss while ranking fifth in sacks. Fayad is one of five MAC players to be named to this week's PFF College Football Team of the Week.
