Â

Noah Brumels | 6-3Â | FWÂ | Jenison International Academy | Jenison, Mich.
Brumels is a forward hailing from Jenison, Mich., and currently attends Jenison International Academy. He led the US Youth Soccer National League in scoring in back-to-back seasons and helped Midwest United FC win the league title twice. Noah is a prolific scoring, recording 222 total goals in his club career and setting the single-season record for goals with 15. A four-time Michigan State Cup Champion, Brumels was the Regional Championship top scorer in 2017 and was named to the National Championship Best XI team in 2018.Â
Why Noah Chose WMU
"I chose Western Michigan because of its excellent academic program and because of its top soccer program that develops and prioritizes its players."
Coach Wiseman on Brumels
"In the simplest way it can be put, Noah scores goals. He has scored goals in bunches at every level he has played at and in some big time club moments. His size and athleticism makes him very imposing to opponents and he has incredible instincts in and around the goal. Noah plays with a bit of an edge and also prides himself on a high work rate which usually spells bad news for the teams he is playing against."

Levi Crooks | 5-7 | MFÂ | Portage Northern High School | Portage, Mich.
Crooks resides in the Kalamazoo Area, attending Portage Northern High School and competing for Kalamazoo Kingdom SC. He guided his club team to two consecutive USL Super Y titles and State Cup championships in 2017 and 2019. Levi received MHSAA All-State honors last season and was named to his high school honor roll four times.
Why Levi Chose WMU
"I chose Western Michigan because of what the university has to offer me academically so I can better prepare for my future. I also believe the coaching staff understands me and can develop me the best as a soccer player and person. I have the chance to be part of something special for the next few years and I couldn't pass up the opportunity."
Coach Wiseman on Crooks
"Levi is another local product we have known for many years and know exactly what he is capable of. He is small in stature but large in impact, and has some versatility to his game to play a few different positions. Originally from Ghana, he is also extremely strong and athletic. Levi possesses some very good leadership characteristics and is a terrific organizer and communicator on the field. He is a 5-Star young man that is going to make a great impact on our team, on our campus, and continue to do so in the Kalamazoo community." Â

Sean O'Meara | 6-0Â | GKÂ | Canton High School | Canton, Mich.
O'Meara, a native of Canton, Mich., started his club career with Canton Celtic and has been the goalkeeper for the Michigan Wolves of the US Soccer Development Academy since 2018, competing in the U17 and U19 Academy playoffs last season. Sean also played in the 2017 SuperCup NI Tournament in Ireland and received an invitation to the US Soccer Training Center. O'Meara has excelled in the classroom, earning the Scholar Athlete-Academic and Athletic Achievement Award in 2017 and the MSYSA ODP College Scholarship this year. A member of the National Honor Society, Sean received recognition for photography from Scholastic Art & Writing and Eastern Michigan University Dangerous Minds.
Why Sean Chose WMU
"I chose Western Michigan because I wanted to put myself into an environment where I would be pushed to be the best soccer player and the best person in life I can be. As soon as I stepped on campus I knew that I made the right choice for my home for the next 4 years."
Coach Wiseman on O'Meara
"Sean is another player who is very excited to be coming to Kalamazoo and join the Bronco family. He brings a workman like mentality to the goalkeeper position and is a guy that just keeps improving each year and that will not stop at WMU. He is a quick, athletic shot stopper with a knack for coming up with big saves in big moments. His distribution skills are also very clean and at a high level. Sean is a terrific young man that possesses all of the characteristics we value in our program, and is going to come in and push the goalkeepers we have, push himself and push our team."

Kyle Scott | 6-0 | OM/OBÂ | Lakeland High School | Highland Township, Mich.
Scott is the all-time leading goal scorer in Lakeland High School program history, earning MHSAAÂ All-District and All-State accolades twice in his career. He also received all-conference recognition three times and competed for the Michigan Jaguars of the UPSLÂ at the club level. Academically, Kyle earned high honors three times at Lakeland.Â
Why Kyle Chose WMU
"I chose Western Michigan because of the talent they have recruited in the past. I wanted to play on a competitive level with an excellent coaching staff."
Coach Wiseman on Scott
"Kyle is a player that can't wait to be a Bronco and is very proud to be coming to WMU. Kyle is a very gifted athlete who plays with a bite, and also knows how to grind and compete to make things happen. He knows how to use his speed to put pressure on defenses and create and capitalize on scoring opportunities. His delivery from wide areas is exceptional and can really cause problems in the box for defenders. His skill set and athleticism allow him to play a couple different positions, and will help add to the competitive edge in our program every single day."

Josh Williams | 5-8Â | MFÂ | Caledonia High School | Caledonia, Mich.
Williams has found success at the club level with Midwest United FC, helping them win four Michigan State Cup titles and two National League titles dating back to the 2015 campaign. He was also a member of the ODP State Team from 2014-2017. Josh was recently named to the honor roll at Caledonia High School.
Why Josh Chose WMU
"I chose Western Michigan because I was impressed with the recent success of the team and the number of talented players that I would get to play with. Also I was equally impressed with the reputation of Western's business school."
Coach Wiseman on Williams
"Josh is a player that has been committed to us for quite some time and knew right away that Kalamazoo was where he wanted to be. He is another bright prospect out of the Grand Rapids area and has played in some big time games for a dominant Midwest United club team. He is a play-maker by trade; a player that is very technical and clean on the ball and very good in possession. Josh has a very high soccer IQ and reads the game at a high level."
