Game Times Announced for Eight WMU Football Games

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football program and the Mid-American Conference have announced the times for eight WMU football games for the upcoming 2019 season.
 
The Broncos open up the season hosting Monmouth on Saturday, Aug. 31 for Arbor Financial Youth Day with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3. A game time of 7:30 p.m. kickoff has been set for WMU's first road trip of the season, a game at Michigan State on Sept. 7 broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
 
Western Michigan welcomes Georgia State for CommUniverCity on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. The Broncos and the Panthers will be broadcast on ESPN+. WMU's first road trip in MAC play takes place on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Toledo and is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start with the broadcast coverage still to be determined. The Broncos host Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 26 for its Salute to Heroes day at noon, with broadcast coverage to be determined.
 
Western Michigan hosts Ball State on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to open its mid-week MACtion schedule. Kickoff has been scheduled for 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on either ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network. Other mid-week games include road trips to Ohio on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPNU and at Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. on ESPNU or ESPN+. Official times and broadcast information will be confirmed closer to the date of the games.
 
Please note that all times and dates are still subject to change. Times for games at Syracuse, at home against Central Michigan and Miami, and at Eastern Michigan are still to be determined.
