Dugan Earns CoSIDA Academic All-American Honors

AUSTIN, Texas –  Western Michigan men's basketball senior student-athlete Seth Dugan has been named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Wednesday.

Dugan is a two-time First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District member while also being named Academic All-MAC and a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete each of the past two seasons. In the classroom the Otsego, Mich., native supports a 3.97 grade point average in Finance.

Dugan is the first Bronco to earn Academic All-American honors since David Kool was named Third Team Academic All-American back in 2009. The senior center is the first player to earn First Team Academic All-American honors since Joe Reitz in 2007.

On the court Dugan is averaging 16.2 points and 9.6 rebounds with 15 double-doubles, the second most in a single-season in school history.
