KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team is set to host Colorado College in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Quarterfinals on March 15, 16 and 17 (if necessary). All game times will be 7:05 p.m.

WMU (20-13-1, 13-10-1-1 NCHC) earned home ice after sweeping Miami, 5-1 and 6-1, over the weekend to move up to third place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference standings. The finish matches the 2016-17 for a program-highest finish in the NCHC.

The Tigers (15-17-4, 9-12-3-0 NCHC) finished the season in sixth place, helping the Broncos move up to third by sweeping Denver over the weekend. WMU and CC met back on Feb. 22 and 23 in Colorado Springs, Colo., and split the series. Western Michigan won the series-opener 5-4 in overtime before falling the next night, 8-2.

Tickets for the best-of-three clash are on sale now at www.wmubroncos.com/tickets and by calling 1-888-4-WMUTIX. The series will also be broadcast on NCHC.tv and the Bronco Radio Network.
