THREE RIVERS, Mich. – Thanks to many generous sponsors and fans, the Western Michigan women's basketball team's 12th Annual Golf Outing was a total success on Sunday, August 5 at Pine View Golf Club in Three Rivers, Mich.

"Just when we didn't think we could have any more fun at our outing, our planning committee hit it out of the park this year," commented WMU head coach
Shane Clipfell. "Our sponsorships were more creative and generous than ever. Our hosts at Pineview Golf Club, who are also Bronco alums, had the course in great shape as always and their hospitality never disappoints."

"I can't thank our committee enough, they put in a tremendous amount of work leading up to this event," added Clipfell. "My wife Connie is the lead person but she is supported in a big way by Lauri Yarger, Phil and Gail Anglin and Cindy and Greg Kalvin. This is a year long event that most only see what happens on the actual day of the event but it takes a lot of effort to make it happen and the credit goes to them."
