Women's Tennis Prepares to Host USTA Zone Team Championships

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team is set to host the 2018 Boys' & Girls' 14-under North Zone Team Championships at Sorensen Courts from July 24th through the 29th.

WMU women's tennis head coach Ryan Tomlinson, along with members of the current Bronco tennis staff will serve as the tournament directors. All the American players on the WMU women's tennis team have played in this tournament in their careers.

The USTA Zone Team Championships is a five-day team competition emphasizing both singles, doubles and mixed doubles play against other section teams with match results counting for National and Midwest Section rankings.

The matches will take place at Sorensen Courts on the campus of Western Michigan University, with back-up courts at West Hills Athletic Club.
