KALAMAZOO, Mich.- It was announced today that the Saturday, Oct. 6 football game between Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan will be a 12 p.m. kickoff. The television platform is TBA.
 
The Oct. 6th meeting will be Western Michigan's first Mid-American Conference home game of the season. It will also be the 96th annual Homecoming game for the Broncos, as well as Arbor Financial Youth Day and Family Weekend.
 
WMU holds a 33-18-2 advantage in the all-time series against EMU and has won the last four in a row. The Broncos defeated the Eagles last year in Ypsilanti, 20-17 in overtime.

The Broncos open the season hosting Syracuse on Friday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.
